Walnut is a handsome little long haired chihuahua.  He is estimated to be between 3 - 5 years old.  He is a little shy at first but once he warms up is very playful and loving.  He has made a buddy here at the rescue in one of our resident kitties.  So he would do well in a home with cats.  Walnut was found as a stray and was never claimed.  Since arriving at our rescue he has been tested neg for heartworm and now current on preventatives.  He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and had a dental.  He will need a patient loving owner to give him lots of love and in return you will certainly receive lots of love.  We are looking for a home with no small children due to his size.  If you are interested in possible adoption please go to www.DelawareRescue.com and complete our online adoption application.
